With a strong national presence and offices abroad in London and New York, McCarthy Tétrault provides a comprehensive service in the construction space, advising a broad client base ranging from developers and lenders to contractors and architects on major projects domestically, and across Latin America, the US, the UK, Europe and the Middle East. With expertise across the energy, transport, retail, mining, healthcare and pharmaceuticals sectors, the practice assists with regulatory compliance, risk management, transactional matters and construction dispute resolution, in addition to occupational health and safety issues. Scott Chalmers in Toronto heads the national practice and advises on major international infrastructure projects. Julie Parla, a seasoned litigator and arbitrator, manages the firm’s national construction disputes practice. Bryan West, who leads the Alberta construction and project disputes groups, also provides experience in commercial landlord and tenant disputes.  Anca Neacsu, who heads the Quebec construction group, specializes in the energy and mining sectors.
