Partner Nicholas Usher serves as Managing Partner of the London office and concentrates his practice on mergers and acquisitions (both public and private), lending and finance, securities (initial public offerings and secondary securities offerings on the London Stock Exchange (Main Market and AIM)), and private equity transactions. He has particular experience in advising on cross-border transactions and regularly advises companies on their day-to-day corporate activities.

Nicholas is recognised as a leading mergers and acquisitions practitioner in the UK and has represented many clients on a variety of mergers and acquisition and securities transactions, including: AAR Corp., Motorola Solutions, Inc., Beam Suntory, Groupon, Inc., Lear Corporation, CPI Card Group, Kellogg Company, Morningstar Inc., UL LLC (Underwriters Laboratories), Federal-Mogul Corporation, and Maximus, Inc.

In addition, he represents private equity and venture capital funds with respect to portfolio investments and buyout transactions. His private equity work has included representing Argand Partners, Baird Capital Partners, Century Park Capital Partners, Booth Creek Management Corporation, and Parallel49 Equity. 

Nicholas has worked in London and Asia.
