Edward Soto is Co-Head of Weil’s Complex Commercial Litigation practice and Managing Partner of Weil’s Miami office. A senior trial partner, Ed focuses his practice on the trial of high-value complex civil litigation, and has substantial experience in class actions and multidistrict litigations, with an emphasis on antitrust, bankruptcy, commercial litigation, employment, insurance, products liability, and securities litigation. He has more than 35 years of experience winning these cases at every phase – through case dispositive motions, trials, appeals, and settlements – in state and federal courts and before arbitration panels. Clients include Breitburn Energy, Dometic, Financial Guaranty Insurance Corp., H&R Block, Procter & Gamble, Repsol, Sheridan HealthCorp., and Westinghouse.
