Telecommunications, media and technology (TMT): The exciting world of TMT is rapidly advancing, continuously transforming and persistently progressing and it is not confined by borders. Complex, multi-layered deals are negotiated and data is shared at the push of a button. Time is precious, but ever so fleeting when decisions need to be made in an instant. This dynamic landscape captures our attention and ignites our passion.

We understand within this energised world that it is not always smooth sailing. There are regulatory requirements relating to licensing and compliance. Also, there are considerations for the protection of private information and strict protection of privacy at both the corporate and personal levels. Navigating these aspects can be complicated and complex all at the same time and transactions of this nature require a team that understands every detail.

Energy and natural resources: The supply and demand of energy and the resulting transition to renewable energy on a global scale have caused disruptions and transformations in economic and industrial infrastructure. It is no longer a question of if you are interested in pursuing the next-generation energy service provider, but when.

To the team at TripleOKLaw, the energy and natural resources is extremely exciting, forward-thinking and has the planet’s sustainability at its very core. However, it is not without risks – which can be high. Costly too. Nevertheless, any potential risks that may arise are weighed against the immense opportunity for technological advancement for both emerging and established businesses, when approached correctly.

As such, we can assist clients in identifying and mitigating risks and challenges as and when they arise. Not only that, but we can offer bespoke solutions to all your legal requirements across the energy and natural resources sector.

With our collective specialised skills, we are perfectly suited to support you as you take on occupational health and safety issues, project development and/or project finance as well as the all-important regulatory issues.

At TripleOKLaw, we aim to provide our clients with practical but always strategic advice, proudly supporting them as they take the first (or last) step on this energy journey.

Climate change and sustainability: Given the increased interest in exploiting oil and gas deposits in our region to satisfy growing energy demands and a greater appreciation of the environmental risks associated with fossil fuels, we have recognised the need for expert legal counsel in the natural resource sector. Private companies and government institutions have sought our assistance in the complex and challenging field of climate change and Sustainability and our team is well-prepared to address their needs.

As a specialised area under the corporate and commercial practice, our experienced team is proficient in navigating the complexities of climate change and environmental law, providing clients with a practical understanding and application of the law by various regulatory bodies.
