In early 2019 the firm secured a major coup in New York with the addition of a large team from Kasowitz Benson Torres LLP, including partners Wallace Schwartz,  Julia Sanabria and Adam Endick. A recent highlight included advising Goldman Sachs on its acquisition of a $350m solar portfolio from Marina Energy. Practice head Paul Martin represented Woods Capital Management on its acquisition of One AT&T Plaza, an office building in downtown Dallas. Newly promoted partner Prentiss Cutshaw took the lead in advising Hillwood Properties on the leasing of a 200,000 square foot build-to-suit facility at AllianceTexas to Mercedes Benz Financial Services. Another highlight included acting for Transwestern Investment Group on its $2.5bn acquisition of three corporate campuses. Randy Jurgensmeyer has particular experience advising investment funds, institutional investors and individuals in forming joint ventures and carrying out real estate transactions for all asset classes.
