The next line of key partners features trade mark, copyright and domain name experts Antonio Varas, and Bernardita Torres; and at founding partner level, Marino Porzio (‘possibly the most outstanding professional in the country') and former legal director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hernán Ríos de Marimón, are now counsels at the firm. Chile > Labour and employment Tier 3

Recent areas of focus for Porzio Ríos García’s ‘excellent team of lawyers’ range from internal investigations, to golden parachute proposals and employee wrongdoing-related criminal assessments. The five-member labour, employment, social security and immigration law practice is also highly active in court litigation, while flexible working from home is another growth area. Name partner and department head Ignacio García has longstanding experience in labour and employment work, his practice covering litigation, global mobility, collective bargaining, cross-border executive transfers, and transactional labour issues; and the work of fellow partner and labour and employment specialist Fernando Villalobos is ‘outstanding’. At associate level, Camila Quiroz is an experienced litigator, but Laura Kottmann departed the firm in July 2022 to pursue an LLM.
