Norman is the Head of the Dispute Resolution & Litigation Department and handles some of the most complex large-scale commercial litigation conducted by the firm. He acts for many large corporate clients and public bodies, including the State. Norman also has in depth knowledge in the areas of insurance and professional indemnity and has a specialist practice advising liquidators and companies that find themselves in insolvency situations. Norman has been a recommended individual in Dispute Resolution in Chambers Global and Legal 500 since 2006.

Norman's recent experience includes:

  • Acting for the Financial Services Ombudsman in a High Court appeal against his direction to a major financial institution to repay €7m to investors in a scheme by reason of inadequate reporting
  • Acting in several high value property development disputes in the Commercial Court
  • Acting in a large cross border professional indemnity claim against a firm of accountants
