Fiona is a Scottish qualified Principal Associate in our Real Estate Practice Group based in our Edinburgh office and leads our Scottish core real estate team. She has experience in dealing with a broad range of commercial property transactions and works with our corporate and banking practices in the property aspects of funding and share and asset sales and purchases.

Fiona has particular experience in investment acquisition and sales and commercial leasing acting for both landlords and tenants. She has led teams managing shopping centres and retail parks for institutional clients across Scotland dealing with portfolio management, commercial leasing and development matters and acts for a number of corporate occupiers in respect of their Scottish property portfolios. She has significant experience in complex development projects and has been responsible for the delivery of high profile urban regeneration and social housing schemes across Scotland dealing with the whole remit of real estate matters including site assembly, development, forward funding, profit shares, prelets, funding and onward sale.

Prior to joining Eversheds Fiona worked in house as the Director of Legal Affairs and Company Secretary for G1 Group Plc acting as principal legal advisor to the Board and managing a team providing legal advice across a large mixed use property portfolio. Fiona has also worked as the Chief Counsel for development and regeneration at Scotland's largest social housing provider advising on a range of social housing developments and full and midmarket rent subsidiaries.
