He advises on a wide range of regeneration and development schemes for the private and public sectors, dealing with the site assembly of complex brownfield sites, and negotiating joint ventures and funding arrangements to facilitate delivery of major real estate and infrastructure projects. Recent projects include: acting for the Greater London Authority on the selection of Segro as its developer partner for the East + project in London - delivering a number of opportunity sites across the east of London for industrial/warehousing over a ten year development period. leading our team for Lendlease on its extension of the Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull, advising on site assembly and development matters. acting on strategic acquisitions for High Speed 2 Limited, comprising key sites on the proposed Birmingham - London route, involving pro-active project management, co-ordinating input from procurement, state aid, planning/CPO and construction colleagues, allowing for relocation of current occupiers and making advance payments of disturbance compensation. Acting for Roxhill Developments Limited on its 6 million square feet East Midland Gateway railfreight scheme at Kegworth Leicestershire, including land assembly and the negotiation of options with landowners and tenants, as well as providing real estate support for the Development Consent Order secured in 2016. Advising on the joint venture between Severn Trent and Goodman Shepherd for the delivery of a rail freight distribution scheme at Etwall Derbyshire. This complex multi-phase development will allow for the phased drawdown of the site over a ten year period, to be delivered to a mutually agreed and reviewed business plan.
