Michael joined Eversheds in 1982. He was appointed Partner in May 1990. Michael specialises in Technology law. Michael has held the following positions within Eversheds:-

Head of the Eversheds' IT Group 1998 to 2002 and 2010 to date

Head of the Eversheds' Commercial Practice Group 2002 to 2005

Head of Technology Group - Birmingham and Head of Japan Business Group - 2005 to date.

Michael specialises in major IT procurement projects, outsourcing and system development agreements having acted on major transactions for private and public sector clients.

He has specialised in technology work for twenty years and acts for Cobham, Mary Quant, Misys, Quantel, Severn Trent, Taylor Wimpey and Transport for London. He has recently been named as one of the leading IT lawyers in the UK by Mondaq. He has appeared on Legal Network Television.

The Chambers' Guide to the Legal Profession for 2010 stated that Michael is "highly experienced and pragmatic, as well as proactive and supportive in overall project management".
