Samantha Trutch

Samantha is an Associate within our Corporate Claims team. She joined Eversheds in 2013 having previously worked within a firm specialising in Claimant clinical negligence, Court of Protection, and general litigation.
Since joining Eversheds Samantha has acted for various large corporate/public bodies defending employers liability and public liability claims, covering diverse sectors such as local government, education, transport and healthcare. Samantha is currently assisting on a large scale high profile public inquiry, collating and assessing evidence and interviewing witnesses.
A key aspect of Samantha's role is protecting the reputation of her clients and minimising any potential damage to their brand.
Samantha's recent experience includes:
• acting for private and public bodies investigating and assisting in claims following allegations of child abuse;
• assisting on public enquiry work;
• assisting on complex and high value EL and PL claims for a range of large corporate/public bodies;
• investigating and handling numerous claims for serious injury for a national rail corporation;
• investigating and handling numerous claims for serious injury for a global energy company;
• assisting on investigations into vehicle safety mechanisms for a large corporation;
• assisting in a growing number of international claims including advising on complex jurisdictional issues;
• assisting on claims involving catastrophic injury following a gas explosion;
• assisting in the investigation into industrial disease claims against a large corporation;
• delivering training to large public bodies
