Nadia is a dual qualified lawyer, as a Solicitor in England and as an Advocate in India. She holds a degree in international commercial law from the University of Cambridge and has been the recipient of several prestigious scholarships, including as an incoming scholar with the Inner Temple in London and a clerkship with the Supreme Court of India.

Her life-sciences public sector experience was gained in-house with the central global legal team of 15 international agricultural research institutes funded by the UN FAO and the World Bank. She also has extensive healthcare industry knowledge from time spent in-house with a global CRO, advising on regulatory and contractual aspects of all phases of trials conducted across the EMEA and APAC regions

Her experience includes:

  • assisting in advising the government of a Far East Asian country on protecting its traditional knowledge;
  • assisting on three multi-billion pound global outsourcing transactions for an international confectionary brand. The second transaction worth £5billion was the highest value transaction of its kind globally at the time;
  • advising on the regulatory aspects of a £130million sale of a group of dental practices;
  • separately assisting two global financial institutions with drafting their global IT framework services agreements;
  • advising on a high value umbrella clinical trial (Phase III) for a blue chip biotechnology company;
  • advising on a first of its kind paediatric oncology (Phase I) clinical trial for a global biotechnology company;
  • conducting an IP audit and strategy for a national healthcare authority on all their activities;
  • advising a global consultancy on a high profile international aid agreement.
