Stefanie Sahla-Jones

Stefanie is a Principal Associate in the Financial Institutions Group. She practices in a variety of areas of the group, with an emphasis on unauthorised funds and advising public and private sector pension schemes on their investments. She also provides general regulatory advice.
Stefanie has a particular focus on real estate funds and joint ventures, advising on onshore and offshore fund structures, underlying portfolio vehicles, holding entities, acquisitions and disposals of wrapped property assets, fund extensions and other restructurings.
Stefanie’s practice includes advising public and private institutional investors on their investment in a range of onshore and offshore funds, including UCITS, infrastructure, hedge, real estate and private equity funds. She negotiates fund documentation and side letters in respect of such investments. Stefanie advises on investment management agreements, custody agreements and related documentation and negotiates these on behalf of her clients.
Stefanie drafts and negotiates ISDA and other trade documentation.
Stefanie provides general regulatory advice, including on the implementation of the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD), the European Markets and Infrastructure Directive (EMIR) and the recast Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID II).
Stefanie’s clients include public and private sector pension schemes, investment managers, custodians, funds and other financial institutions.
