Lynne Wells is a principal associate in our banking group. She specialises in project finance, including for large energy and infrastructure transactions.

She has experience acting on complex cross-border transactions where she advises borrowers, lenders and sponsors, including governments, export credit agencies, commercial banks and multilateral/development finance institutions.

Her recent experience includes: Petrojetty Company, an affiliate of Oryx Energies, on a public-private-partnership (PPP) concession for the development and operation of a petroleum jetty at Sierra Leone’s key import and export facility, the Kissy Oil Terminal in Freetown; advising project sponsor in respect of a complex restructuring of the financing of a renewable energy project in West Africa; and advising a development finance institution in relation to various financings throughout East Africa.

Lynne has recent experience working on project finance transactions across a range of jurisdictions, including: Armenia, Bahrain, China, Israel, Kenya, Liberia, Mauritius, Portugal, Sierra Leone, Turkey, the United Kingdom, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
