Katie is an Associate in our Financial Services team. She advises clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues relating to authorised funds under the FCA rules. Recent experience includes advising clients on how to comply with and take advantage of UCITS IV, ESMA's Guidance on ETFs and other UCITS issues as well as the RDR and Protected Cell regimes. She has also advised on the authorisation of new funds, variations to existing fund specifications and fund terminations.

Katie has been on client secondment to the retail arm of Barclays PLC, where she undertook contentious work, advising the bank on issues arising under the Consumer Credit Act 1974, PPI and financial promotions.

Katie graduated from the University of Warwick in 2009 with an LLB in Law, she then completed the Legal Practice Course at Oxford. She trained with Eversheds and qualified in September 2012.
