Emma is a Principal Associate in our Commercial Dispute Resolution group. She advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of commercial matters, including multi jurisdictional energy disputes, joint venture disputes, shareholder disputes, telecommunications and general commercial or tortious actions.  She has a particular interest in US cross border disputes having previously practised at a major US law firm.

In addition to her extensive experience in commercial litigation, Emma specialises in international arbitrations including LCIA, ICC, UNCITRAL and ad hoc arbitration proceedings under the Arbitration Act 1996.

Examples of Emma's experience include: advising a US client on arbitrations concerning disputes arising out of aircraft lease agreements; advising on various energy arbitrations involving issues of foreign law; advising on a High Court jurisdictional dispute involving complex matters of foreign law; and acting in High Court litigation in relation to a high profile contractual dispute for an international sportsman.

Emma is a member of the Young International Arbitration Group and the ICC Young Arbitrators Forum.
