Mark Davenport
Work Department
Mark is a partner in our Litigation and Dispute Management practice group in London. He specialises in heavyweight commercial litigation, and leads the Commercial Dispute Resolution group in London and our International Commercial Disputes product group.
Mark has over 20 years experience of commercial and financial services litigation, as well as corporate and shareholder disputes, IT and outsourcing disputes, and public procurement challenges. He has experience of public inquiries, SFO investigations and competition investigations. He has conducted litigation in all divisions of the High Court, as well as the House of Lords, the Court of Appeal, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the Crown Court. Mark has led numerous mediations. He has particular experience in the financial services, technology and transport sectors.
Mark is ranked in Chambers and Partners as a leading practitioner. He is praised for the “perfect combination of being hard-nosed and pragmatic. He is very clear about the client’s goals and he has a real eye for detail”.
Mark is a regular speaker at our in-house counsel seminars. He is a committee member of the Commercial Mediation Group and the Society for Computer & Law's IT Disputes Group.
