Richard Kyle

Richard is a Partner in our Corporate Group. He focuses on private equity, international M&A and transactions in the diversified industrial sector. Richard's recent transactional experience includes acting for: Inflexion Private Equity Partners on their investments in Alcumus, Prolabs and Systal Technology Solutions; Livingbridge on their investments in Simply Conveyancing, AJM Healthcare and Veramed; Baird Capital Partners on their investments in Nigel Wright, Bfinance, Prescient Healthcare and Aura Futures; H2 Equity Partners on their investments in BA Components and Primacy Healthcare 21; Elaghmore on its acquisition of Formaplex from Dunedin; Inspirit Capital on its acquisition of Beetham Paper Mill from Billerudkorsnas AB; Next plc on its investment in Reiss; the founders of FundApps on the investment by Scottish Equity Partners; the management team of Wolseley on the acquisition by CD&R from Ferguson plc SPX Flow on the $400 million sale of its Power & Energy business to funds managed by Apollo; Doncasters on the disposals of its UK fabrications and UK forgings businesses to Radius Aerospace and Aero Forgings respectively, portfolio companies of Arlington Capital Partners, the disposal of Doncasters Precision Forgings to IFA, a BGF company and the disposal of Paralloy to Nimbus; Steinhoff on the sale of Harveys and Bensons for Beds to Alteri; Advantage Sales & Marketing on the acquisitions of REL, Flixmedia, Intermarketing Group, Home Marketing Group and Great Ideas Group. As part of his focus on the diversified industrial sector, Richard was also seconded for three months to work alongside the GC of one of our clients, Doncasters, with whom he continues to work today. He also holds a Northern Irish practicing certificate and works closely with the Dublin corporate partners and Belfast office for clients and on transactions in respect of businesses based in Northern Ireland.

Able to draw on its significant national resources, Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP‘s ‘in-depth knowledge of both the PE industry and the larger corporate industry‘ is prized by a host of PE houses and management teams alike.
