Kate is a senior associate in our commercial practice group and a member of the firm's consumer credit group and retail finance sub-sector. She specialises in general commercial and consumer credit and acts for a number of consumer finance and financial services clients.

She has experience of drafting and advising on all types of commercial contracts including guarantees and novations, standard terms and conditions and framework agreements for the supply of goods and services, consumer credit, outsourcing, procurement, supply, agency and distribution and copyright agreements. She also has experience of assisting on the commercial elements of major corporate due diligence projects.

Examples of Kate's recent work include: Assisting and advising on a major facilities management outsourcing arrangement for an international clearing bank; leading the negotiation of a time management, payroll and HR services outsourcing; assisting on, and negotiating the outsourcing of HR, finance and procurement services; assisting on major corporate due diligence projects and joint venture arrangements; advising clients on the implementation of the Consumer Credit Directive and other consumer credit compliance issues including: licensing; marketing under the Consumer Credit Advertising Regulations; and the enforceability of consumer credit agreements.
