Matthew Allen

Based in London, Matthew Allen is Global Head of Financial Services Dispute and Investigations. The team is made up of over 275 lawyers worldwide and is able to mobilise dedicated resource on a scale, and at a speed, which few can match.
Matthew advises and co-ordinates teams advising and supporting some of the world’s biggest investment and commercial banks, funds, reinsurers, corporates and trading houses. His practice covers:
- Domestic and international litigation, arbitration and ADR;
- Contentious regulatory work;
- International inquiries and investigations;
- Strategic advice on issues of governance, compliance and legal/regulatory risk.
Recent experience includes acting on complex disputes and investigations in the following markets:
