Sheena is a Partner in our Commercial Dispute Resolution group in London. She advises on a broad range of high value business and complex commercial, financial and insolvency disputes (both litigation and arbitration) and usually with a cross-border element. Sheena is recognised as a "Next Generation Partner" in Commercial Litigation (Premium) in Legal 500. Sheena's experience includes: Acting for one of five co-defendants in a high-profile English Commercial Court claim concerning allegations of dishonesty under Russian law; Advising an oil company in its defence of a US$300 million claim for various breaches of contracts pursuant to the UNCITRAL Rules; Advising a hedge fund on possible claims that could be brought before the English courts by investors in a Jersey limited partnership fund in light of the mismanagement of portfolio assets by an English incorporated investment manager; Advising the provisional liquidators of a Luxembourg-incorporated securitisation vehicle on a range of complex trust and other issues concerning the assets of the estate and making numerous applications to the English High Court under the Insolvency Act 1986; Advising lenders to a foreign exchange company on contentious issues arising in connection with the successful restructuring of its business; Advising an Indian pharmaceuticals company in its defence of a claim for breach of a supply agreement pursuant to an arbitration commenced under the LCIA Rules; Advising a shareholder of a joint venture in the defence of an unfair prejudice petition before the English High Court; Advising clients on litigation funding opportunities, including on the due diligence of potential claims (in a number of jurisdictions).
