Led from London by the ‘highly experienced’ Simon Waller  and also able to draw on the expertise of practitioners spread throughout its regional network of offices, Eversheds Sutherland (International) LLP provides ‘commercial and cost-effective’ advice to IPs, lenders, corporates and boards of directors, primarily in the context of mid-market UK restructurings/insolvencies. The energy sector has recently proved to be a particular fertile source of work and, led by Carl Allen, the team has picked up some notable IP instructions relating to energy supply insolvencies caused by the recent rapid increase in costs in the wholesale markets. Jamie Leader joined Enyo Law LLP in April 2021.
