Kyle Richards

Kyle is an associate in our Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team and Financial Institutions group.
He specialises in professional negligence claims on behalf of financial institutions, but also deals with financial disputes more generally.
Kyle's recent experience includes:
- acting for a number of financial services clients to progress and settle professional negligence claims against surveyors and solicitors, in both a commercial and residential context;
- providing strategic advice to a financial services client in relation to claims brought against it under section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act 1974;
- acting for an international bank in relation to various personal guarantee issues and claims;
- acting for a market leading publisher in an arbitration relating to intellectual property issues with a global manufacturer;
- acting for a Trustee in Bankruptcy in a complex transaction at an undervalue claim which went to the Court of Appeal.
Kyle is an active member of the CSR Committee; the Office Welfare Committee; the annual client Charity Quiz Committee; and Social Club Committee in the Nottingham Office, as well as taking part in local mentoring schemes.
Kyle trained with Eversheds and qualified in September 2013, completing seats in Commercial (IP/IT/Commercial), Commercial Dispute Resolution, Financial Services Disputes and Investigations, Restructuring and Core Real Estate.
