Nicola is a principal associate in the corporate team based in the Manchester office. Nicola has a wide range of experience advising public and private companies on acquisitions, disposals, corporate reorganisations and general corporate governance for clients of varying sizes and from a broad range of industry sectors.

Nicola is involved in the healthcare and transport sector teams and is client account manager for Four Seasons Health Care Limited, Manchester Airport Group, NCC Group plc, Lookers plc , Entu (UK) plc and Wincanton plc.

Nicola's recent experience includes taking the lead role acting for Lookers plc on its recent acquisition of the Benfield Motor Group for £87.5m and for Holidaybreak Group Limited on the disposal of its adventure division to Hotelplan (UK) Limited for £25.8m.

Her capital markets experience includes acting on the acquisition of Dutch target company Fox-IT Holding BV by NCC Group plc for €133.25m, advising AIM listed API Group plc on its recommended (initially hostile) £46m takeover by Steel Partners and acting for Entu (UK) plc on its £65m IPO and admission to AIM.

Other highlights include acting on the disposal of the records management business of Wincanton plc to Restore plc for £60m, acting for Four Seasons Healthcare on its £43m acquisition of part of the Majesticare group, acting for Urban Splash on its £135m refinance with The Pears Group, and advising the minority shareholders of Manchester Science Parks Limited in connection with the £33m acquisition of Alderley Park from Astra Zeneca.
