Edward is an Associate in the Insurance and Reinsurance Group. Edward advises on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious insurance matters, including contract drafting and interpretation, dispute resolution and operational and regulatory issues.

Edward’s recent experience includes:

• advising several major car manufacturers on contractual and regulatory issues involving their warranty and servicing agreements. The work included updating policy wording for vehicle service agreements and assessing whether warranty products constituted contracts of insurance;

• advising an international airline operator on the regulatory consequences of classification as an insurance intermediary in various jurisdictions in the Far East;

• reviewing and negotiating warranty and indemnity, restrictive covenant and right to light policies; and

• advising an insurer on a claim under its W&I policy worth over £4 million, involving alleged breaches of directors' warranties relating to the accounts of a leading end-to-end technology provider.
