Jon is a partner in our human resources practice group specialising in pensions law.

He advises employers and trustees on all aspect of pensions law and regulation. Jon's recent experience includes advising on the pensions aspects of corporate transactions (including disposals, acquisitions and restructurings) and the management of employer debt liabilities, updating and consolidating scheme governing documentation and advising in relation to benefit change proposals and auto enrolment. Jon also regularly acts for trustees and employers in relation to scheme mergers and de-mergers and liability management exercises.

Jon provides pensions training to clients on a regular basis and is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers and a former joint chair and committee member of the local Manchester group of the National Association of Pension Funds.
