Work Department

Adam is an associate in our pensions team, based in Leeds. He trained with Eversheds and qualified into the pensions team in 2010.

Adam advises on the structure and drafting of all forms of occupational pension schemes, projects to update and consolidate scheme rules, advice on the cessation of future accrual and advising employers and trustees on member communications. He also advises on all employer/trustee relationship issues, including the legal aspects of implementing investment strategies and decisions, scheme funding/valuations, regulatory compliance and scheme change. Adam has experience advising in relation to industry wide schemes such as the Railways Pension Scheme, the Electricity Supply Pension Scheme and schemes in the water industry.

Adam's recent experience includes advising on scheme mergers, re-documentation of scheme rules and a major trustee governance project involving six group occupational pension schemes and a common investment fund. Adam has written various articles for industry publications and is an Associate Member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
