Bob is a specialist planning lawyer in the National Planning Team at Eversheds.
Prior to rejoining Eversheds he held senior positions in local government including the post of City Solicitor and Monitoring Officer at Leeds City Council. His recent experience includes: advising on the planning aspects of the Victoria Gate retail and leisure scheme in Leeds City Centre; advising on Leeds City Council’s Local Plan and advising on the planning and governance aspects of the Council’s residual waste procurement project.
He writes a regular column on legal issues in ‘town & country planning’, the Journal of the Town and Country Planning Association. He is a visiting lecturer at Leeds Metropolitan University and a Legal Associate of the RTPI.
