Hena is a Senior Associate specialising in Commercial Dispute Resolution. She handles heavyweight commercial and corporate disputes together with procurement challenges across a number of sectors including local and central government, healthcare and energy.

Hena has a wealth of experience in High Court litigation (including the specialist courts) and is also experienced in methods of alternative dispute resolution.

She acts for national and international clients in a wide range of fields and has considerable experience of advising both private and public sector bodies.
 
Hena's recent experience includes:

• Advising public and private sector clients on complex and critical issues relating to the management, re-negotiation, default and termination of major contractual relationships; 
• Acting for a large multinational on a £125m breach of warranty claim arising out of the purchase of the largest combined cycle power station in Europe; 
• Advising contracting authorities on defending claims for breach of the public procurement regulations (including a preliminary reference to the European Court of Justice) and providing strategic advice in connection with European Commission Infraction proceedings relating to £100m+ waste management services contracts; 
• Advising NHS Trusts in connection with High Court proceedings and injunctive relief brought by employees following an investigation into poor performance and conduct.

Hena is a member of the firm's national Public Inquiries and Investigations team and the firm's dawn raid team, having assisted with a number of Office of Fair Trading and European Commission investigations.
