Tanzeela is a Senior Associate in our Employment, Labor and Pensions practice group, advising clients on a wide range of employment law issues. Tanzeela has experience dealing with complex employment litigation, including proceedings related to whistleblowing, equal pay and employment status claims, and has handled litigation in employment tribunals, the employment appeal tribunal and the civil courts. Tanzeela regularly manages cross jurisdictional projects on behalf of our International clients. She has particular experience in advising on the employment aspects of corporate transactions and providing strategic advice in connection with redundancies, reorganisations, and TUPE transfers. Tanzeela’s recent experience has included: defending an equal pay claim for a Mechanical & Electrical Engineering client, supporting a travel sector client with a restructure and downsizing project during the pandemic, advising on a contract harmonisation and a change in terms exercise, advising on the implications of Covid-19 vaccinations on the workplace in a project covering 12 jurisdictions and advising a multi-national client on a global restructure affecting over 40 jurisdictions. Tanzeela also deals with employment issues in the financial services sector and recently completed a secondment to a large retail bank, helping manage its Tribunal litigation, supporting on projects and advising on TUPE issues.
