Oliver Beldi is Partner in the international company/commercial team and acts for private and public companies in a variety of sectors. He leads the commercial law practice as well as the Transport and Energy sector groups in Switzerland.

Oliver advises in particular on M&A as well as on all corporate law matters. His clients include SMEs, multi-nationals and private equity houses. He regularly advises on commercial contracts with an emphasis on IT-related agreements and supports clients in negotiations.

Oliver studied law at the University of Berne and was admitted to the Berne Bar in 2002. He holds a Master of European and International Business Law and a CAS Certified Global Negotiator from the University of St. Gallen. Prior to joining Eversheds Sutherland, he worked as legal counsel in the transaction department of a big-four accountancy firm, with a focus on M&A and corporate and commercial matters. Thereafter, he worked as in-house counsel for a large US information technology company in Switzerland.

Oliver is a member of the Berne and Swiss Bar Associations and the Swiss-Chinese Chamber of Commerce (SCCC).
