Position
Partner in the Firm’s Corporate department, focusing on M&A and regulatory matters with respect to transactions in the energy and infrastructure industries. Advises a wide array of infrastructure clients, including electric and gas utilities, independent power producers, pipelines, data storage providers, fiber-optic and other telecommunications companies, private equity funds and financing parties with respect to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, securities issuances, financings and related federal and state regulatory issues. In the power industry, he has regularly advised American Electric Power, Ohio Valley Electric Corp. and various private equity clients. Career deal highlights for utility and private equity clients include numerous high-profile mergers, such as ITC Holdings’ sale to Fortis, JPMorgan’s sale of its physical commodities trading businesses, American Electric Power’s acquisition of Central and South West Corp., and the acquisition of TXU by a group of private equity firms.
