Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is noted for its experience in the aerospace, defense and intelligence industries, handling regulatory compliance matters, investigations, protests, suspensions and debarment, and FCA claims. The majority of the team is located in Washington DC, including John Chierichella, Anne Perry, Jonathan Aronie and Keith Szeliga, but practice head Bryan Daly is based in Los Angeles. The team successfully defended United Technologies Aerospace Systems (UTAS) in injunctive proceedings brought against it by a competitor, concerning a contract awarded to UTAS to build certain oxygen-generating equipment used on US Navy nuclear submarines.
