Career

He has represented international companies in bids and tenders for infrastructure and energy concessions, as well as in the design of public-private partnerships. Alejandro has important experience in port and electric projects, and in representing investors in international disputes.

He worked as an international lawyer at Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton in New York (2012-2013). There, he was member of the arbitration and international litigation team, with special emphasis on investment disputes in complex transnational disputes.

He is professor of Mining and Energy Law at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.
