Position
Carlos Carpio leads our Public Law area. He specializes in public and property law, as well as in public procurement.
Career
He focuses his professional practice on state contracts and national and foreign arbitrations.
He provides advisory on public procurement processes for supply, services rendering, and works execution with special emphasis on sanction procedures.
He counsels construction, mining, industrial companies and real estate promoters on the acquisition of lands, multi-family complexes development, shopping mall construction, urban planning, buildings regularization, land zoning, urban habilitation, and municipal legislation.
Carlos is a member of the investment committees of real estate funds, an arbitrator and expert in ICSID arbitrations on property law. He was manager of the Legal and Research and Development Advisory in the agency that preceded the current Public Procurement Authority (OSCE) as well as a member of the team that prepared the current Public procurement law.
