Career

Mr Rey is founding Partner of the firm, specializing in corporate law, privatization and concessions, energy, infrastructure, administrative law and tax law.

He has extensive experience in corporate operations, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and PPP.

Mr. Rey has participated in several of the most important project and infrastructure transactions in Peru.He is Vice President of the Peruvian Foreign Trade Association (COMEXPERU), Member of the Board of Banco Falabella, Saga Falabella SA, Lima Gas SAA, Quimica Suiza SA, Sociedad Agrícola Saturno SA, and other medium size companies.

Prior to joining the firm, he has been an Associate at the Latin American Department of Baker & McKenzie in Chicago.

The regulatory and administrative law group at Payet, Rey, Cauvi, Pérez Abogados is active in the energy, mining, telecoms, transportation and ports sectors and advises on administrative petitions and procedures before ministries, regulatory agencies and local governments.
