Career

Joyce Cieza has significant experience on giving comprehensive advice to local and foreign clients upon the design and execution of staff hiring schemes; strategic planning on dismissal schemes (individual and collective dismissal schemes) minimizing or eliminating risks derived from these dismissals; the design of labor and employment salaries, compensations and social benefits legal policies; the design and execution of indirect personnel hiring processes (labor outsourcing and intermediation), foreigner employee hiring processes; the design of Safety at Work Managing Systems for companies on different economic sectors; the implementation of adequate systems regarding the correct use of information and communication tools provided by companies to their staff.

Joyce specializes in labor dispute settlements (judicial and administrative) representing companies in the fishing, software technologies, mining, marketing industrial, pension funds and other sectors, designing and applying negotiation formulas and strategies.

Currently she is an arbitrator appointed by the Superintendencia Nacional de Salud (National Health Authority), to resolve disputes concerning the classification of occupational diseases and accidents.
