'Very good all around', Osterling Abogados has a well-established practice under 'two very good lawyers': the firm's principal partner, 'intelligent and experienced' Arturo Tello, and 'dedicated' practice co-head Ximena Souza-Ferreira. The team is particularly strong in the pharmaceutical, beauty, fashion, hotel and restaurant sectors, attracting an impressive client list that includes GlaxoSmithKline, L'Oreal, Harley Davidson and Sanofi; it recently advised the latter on a successful trade mark appeal before INDECOPI's Office of Appeals. Recent mandates saw Tello and Souza-Ferreira successfully win a trade mark registration case involving the breach of the partnership agreement on behalf of the heirs of Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, in a dispute concerning the unauthorised use of her name.
