Lawyer Rankings

Peru > Dispute resolution

Osterling Abogados boasts a high success ratio dealing with complex disputes concerning civil, commercial and constitutional matters, before both the courts and arbitration forums. As expected of a tier-one insurance firm, its extensive caseload includes a large share of insurance-related conflicts, led by leading insurance litigator and arbitrator Enrique Ferrando, who co-heads the practice and has ‘great knowledge of the market.’ The firm also attracts a broad range of non-insurance litigation and arbitration on behalf of mining, energy, construction and real estate companies, among other sectors, as well as individuals. ‘Outstanding’ litigator Mauricio Martínez is co-head of the team, while Gabriel Loli focuses on arbitration. Partner Kodiak Semsch departed in April 2020 to grow the litigation practice at rival insurance firm Kennedys.
