Graduated from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú in 1967, where has been a Principal Professor for over 40 years. His most recent cases include representing the Executive Branch of the Peruvian Government in the defense of a law against which an unconstitutionality claim was filed before the Constitutional Court, claim which was declared unfounded; as well as representing Bristol-Myers Squibb Company and others in a nullity of contract process for US$ 25’000,000, which he also won. As lawyer for Telefónica del Perú he has won various protection claims against Workers’ Unions, as well as a Tariff Arbitration against Osiptel. He is an Arbitrator and former President of the Arbitration Court of Arbitration Chamber of Lima, and is an Arbitrator of the American Chamber of Commerce and of the Analysis and Dispute Resolution Center of Universidad Católica. Former President of the Competence and Intellectual Property Court of Indecopi, President of the Bankruptcy Court and current President of the Competition Court of said institution.
