Agustín Mora-Bowen is a Senior Associate in Tobar ZVS Spingarn´s Corporate and M&A bussiness unit with a focus in construction, energy and infrastructure projects. In the energy sector Agustín has a wide first-hand experience both in oil & gas and in renewable energy projects. In the infrastructure field has represented clients in drafting, negotiating and executing projects under Public-Private Partnerships in the form of concessions, BOT and DBO agreements. Agustín has significant knowledge and understanding of the Ecuadorian complex public legal framework, which added with his experience both in the private and public field, gives him an uncommon perspective for problem solving.

 

His practice experience in the energy sector includes structuring and negotiating complex energy transactions and infrastructure projects; negotiating concession agreements; negotiating and drafting joint participation and operation agreements; oilfield service contracts, including drilling contracts and master service agreements. In the infrastructure and construction field his experience includes drafting and negotiating engineering, procurement and construction contracts; concession agreements and other form of Public-Private Partnership Agreements.

 

Additionally, Agustin has advised and has wide experience on contract administration and project management. He has also extensive experience on bidding processes, both on the public and private sector..
