Marta Villagomez is Legal Director of Tobar ZVS labor practice. She joined the Firm in 2022. Has more than 10 years of experience in the employment area.
Advises local and international clients on the scope and impact of Ecuadorian employment legislation and represents clients in administrative and judicial proceedings. She also leads due diligence processes on employment issues within M&A transactions, and the development of mitigation strategies regarding employment risks.
She has extensive experience in incorporation and nationalization processes of foreign entities in Ecuador. Support clients in labor planning strategy, which includes: employment agreements, visas, compensation packages, labor compliance, among others.
The most recent advice focused on sectors related to mass consumption, telecommunications, pharmaceutical, mining, floriculture, insurance, ONGs, among others.
