Partner Heather S. Bethancourt represents clients in information technology and business process outsourcing transactions, with an emphasis on human resources issues. In addition, she represents clients in strategic supply agreements, manufacturing and distribution agreements, technology licensing, technology maintenance and service agreements, technology development, cloud-computing transactions such as software as a service (SaaS) arrangements, and strategic alliances. Heather also advises clients on technology and intellectual property issues that arise under other corporate transactions such as mergers and acquisitions and joint ventures. Her experience with other commercial contracts includes representing clients in sponsorship, logistics, independent contractor, contingent labor and recruiting services agreements.

David Guedry, who divides his time between Dallas and Houston, advised the information technology services provider Unisys on a desktop service arrangement with what is now DXC Technologies. Dallas-based Heather S. Bethancourt advised Baptist Health of South Florida on the outsourcing of its revenue cycle management operations to Health Systems Solutions, a joint venture between the client and the management consultancy Navigant. The department is jointly headed by Shawn C. Helms and Jason D. Krieser, who are both based in Dallas.
