Partner Michael G. Dreznes focuses his practice on patent prosecution in the computer and electrical arts, including emerging technology areas such as wearable technology and the internet of things, and has participated in matters related to patent litigation and patent licensing. Michael has extensive experience assisting clients with building strategic patent portfolios around a wide array of industry standards such as long-term evolution (LTE), 802.11x and Multimedia over Coax Alliance (MoCA). His practice further encompasses inter partes review, due diligence for licensing transactions and acquisitions, as well as the preparation of invalidity, non-infringement and freedom-to-operate opinions in the aforementioned technology areas.

Edward Gordon and Michael Dreznes led in assisting Google with prosecution and portfolio management issues in relation to, among others, online advertising technologies, productivity tools and cloud computing. The client list includes several Korean, Japanese and Taiwanese household names, such as Hyundai, Panasonic and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, alongside US giants including Apple.
