Position

Partner and a member a of the Tax Department. His practice focuses on taxation of business entities (partnerships and corporations), tax aspects of financing and reorganization, International and European tax law, income taxation and tax litigation before tax courts and the German Supreme Tax Court (Bundesfinanzhof). Gero has extensive experience in the taxation of multinationals, for example the taxation of group financing companies (e.g. Dublin-Dock-companies), of so called Mehrmütterorgangesellschaften (fiscal unit with several parents), tax aspects of Long-Term-Employee-Incentive-programs and the taxation of non-profit-organisations.

Prior to joining the Firm, Gero worked as a tax lawyer for a major German law firm and for Raupach & Wollert-Elmendorff Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH ((legal) arm of Deloitte in Germany).Gero has published numerous articles on tax issues.
