‘Smart, experienced and very responsive’ Loeb & Loeb LLP advises buyers, seller, landlords and tenants on commercial leasing, acquisitions, sales and joint ventures. On the finance side the firm acts for lenders and borrowers on loan origination, CMBS, syndicated credit facilities, loan participations, inter-creditor agreements and mezzanine financing. A recent highlight saw the firm represent the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority on a PPP for the $18bn development of the new West Santa Ana Branch Transit Corridor in Los Angeles. Another highlight included acting for the County of Los Angeles on a PPP with Trammell Crow Company for the construction of a $400m high-rise office building for the County of Los Angeles. ‘Skilled attorney’ Steven Kornblau , who ‘excels on both complicated and contentious deals’, advised Aareal Capital Corporation on a $460m senior mortgage loan secured by the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills and the Beverly Hilton Hotel. Kornblau also advised the LA Metro on the $1.5bn redevelopment of the James A Farley Post Office, which will be converted into part of Moynihan Station in New York. Raymond Sanseverino heads the team in New York with support from Nichole Cortese, Kenneth Sold, Kenneth Freeman and Scott Schneider. David Barksdale joined as a partner from Ballard Spahr LLP in the Los Angeles office. All named attorneys are based in New York unless otherwise stated.
