Career

Enrique is Partner of Lloreda Camacho & Co., since2001. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate law, competition, foreign investment, labour, M&A, privatizations, joint ventures and regulatory matters. He represented domestic and foreign companies in merger control and abuse of dominance investigations, as well as in complex antitrust and unfair competition litigation. He has also advised clients in a number of antitrust clearance proceedings before the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.

Before joining the firm, Enrique worked as Legal Vice President of the National Association of Industries – ANDI. In that position he was part of the drafting team of Law 50 of 1990 (labour reform) and of Law 100 of 1993 (universal health care law).

Education

Enrique has a Law Degree from Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia, and a Master’s Degree in Labour Law from Universidad Bolivariana, in Medellín, Colombia. He also participated in an International Fellowship in Active Labour Policies of the International Labour Organization (ILO-ONU) in Geneva, Switzerland. He has been professor of International Labour Law and Occupational Health of the specialization program in Labour Law of the Universidad Bolivariana, as well as a guest speaker at various seminars.
