Steven Chinowsky is a partner in the San Diego office and a member of the firm’s Technology Transactions and Emerging Companies Practices. Mr. Chinowsky’s practice focuses primarily on high technology, life science and intellectual property transactional matters including acquisitions and dispositions of intellectual property portfolios, technology licensing agreements, research and collaboration agreements, technology joint venture agreements, electronic funds transfer law telecommunications agreements, outsourcing, Internet related agreements and general commercial agreements. He also has substantial experience in privacy law (including COPPA, Gramm-Leach-Bliley and California state law), entertainment law, and representing start-up companies with concerns such as formation, private equity and venture capital fund raising, employment matters, product development and commercialization.
