Latham & Watkins LLP provides a team of Spanish and international lawyers with expertise in a range of restructuring matters, in and out of Spain. The firm has experience from the creditor and debtor standpoints in leveraged buyouts and high-yield debt transactions, including the restructuring of highly leveraged companies experiencing financial difficulties. In addition to the practice’s Spanish insolvency law expertise, it is also involved in cross-border restructuring and insolvency. The team is co-led by Ignacio Pallarés, who focuses on Spanish corporates and financial institutions; capital markets specialist Ignacio Gómez-Sancha; and Fernando Colomina, who is experienced in advising on banking transactions, notably restructuring situations.
