Mr Robert Hayward
Position
Robert M. Hayward is a partner in the corporate transactional group, and was honored as the “2015 Lawyer of the Year (Chicago Capital Markets/Securities Law)” by the Best Lawyers in America. His practice primarily involves counseling publicly-traded corporations and leveraged buyout and private equity funds and their portfolio companies in all aspects of transactional, securities law, corporate governance, executive compensation, stockholder activism and general corporate matters. Mr. Hayward has extensive experience representing issuers in public and private offerings of debt and equity securities (especially IPOs), buyers and sellers in public and private M&A and leverage buyout transactions and issuers and investors in PIPE, venture capital and other private financing transactions. Mr. Hayward has been named numerous times to the NACD’s Directorship 100 for his influence in the boardroom.
